So um, I’m not sure if it’s a big deal, but whenever I feel a bit worried or stressed or whatever, I get this sharp pain in my stomach. It feels like something poking me hard, it goes away for a bit and comes back and whenever I feel real frustrated it gets worse. I have it now. The sharp pain was there before, I told my mom, she said just to wait and see if it comes back in like several days or whatever, it didn’t for a long time, but now due to my mom’s health situation, it’s back and I don’t know whether or not to tell my parents. They tend to get emotionally overbearing and I have some strong feelings about things being “wrong” with me due to ADHD and stuff. I will talk about this with my therapist, but I am a bit concerned, I feel fine otherwise though. And whenever I don’t obsess about it or calm myself down, I think it dies down for awhile so I suspect it’s a stress thing, but when I googled it there was all this stuff about these big health conditions. Soo..I don’t really know what to do.

Sharp stomach pain
Hello
First don't Google things as tempting as it is , I always say 3 clicks on Google and it will have you having the worst scenario you can think of so better staying of there
It very much sounds like it is possibly an anxiety thing as when you are not thinking about it then it tends to go away
I know you say your parents can be overbearing , and have to say lost are it is not just yours but as a parent we worry and we don't mean to be this way we just want to make sure you are ok , but maybe it would be a good idea to put up with their overbearing way and ask them if they could possible support you having a Doctors appointment just to put your mind at ease , you could also ask them if they could try not to be to overbearing over it even though you know they care as this makes you feel worse
It is a good idea to talk with your therapist but anything physical if we are worried only our Doctor can reassure us everything is ok and is qualified to do that and I think that might help you the most to have that reassurance from your Doctor , I know I feel a lot better when my Doctor reassures me about any physical worries I might have x
