Woke up and my hearts racing AGAIN it’s going super fast and I’m panicking so it’s making it even worse I’m in a state right now screaming I’m going to die n can’t breathe.. feel so dizzy this heart rate is so scary how do people calm themselves down n let it pass I always I mean always no matter how many times I get palpitations think the worst n think it’s my time I’m laying in bed now it’s still beating fast I’m going to take a diazepam see if it helps

Has it helped you to take your diazepam yet? Just concerned that it hasn't yet. Hope everything is ok now.

Panic attacks are very scary but they will not kill you. It's important you remember that. It sounds like you start hyperventilating (over breathing) which will cause the carbon dioxide in your blood to rise and causing dizziness. There are lots of good breathing exercises online and YouTube so have a look.

Incidentally if you did ever pass out from an attack your body would automatically resume normal breathing so you wouldn't die.
