Zoloft

I been on Zoloft for about 3-4 years now and last August I started getting major headaches daily. I didn't take my meds one weekend and no headaches... anyone experienced this before after taking it for a long period of time?

Hi Sfqueen, I've never been on Zoloft but do know that it is possible for a medication to

backfire on you and give you symptoms you never experienced before.

Some possibilities might be if the dosage was increased prior to you starting with

these headaches. Another issue may be another med that was introduced recently as

well as you having an abundance of Serotonin in your system that can produce these

horrendous headaches. This all needs to be checked out by your doctor.

Your time on Zoloft might be coming to an end now. Time to have your doctor reaccess

lowering your medication or putting you on something else.

I'm so sorry you are suffering so much. We need to be our own advocates at times and

this may be just one of those times for you. I wish you well, I wish you painfree days ahead.

When you do find that new doc, I have a feeling he will know the answer.

ZOLOFT gave me monstrous carb cravings ..... potatoes ..... bread ....... pasta ....... rice. Packed on weight like a sumo wrestler. Dumped it in the trash. I hope it's helped you.
