My anxiety feels like it is getting worse each day that I wake up.... I am tired of feeling mentally and physically exhausted. I do what I can to try to keep my kind active but as soon as night time starts my anxiety starts to sky rocket and I start panicking over the smallest things... certain noises start to aggravate me and I just feel alone and empty.... I don’t know what else to do.... I feel like I am at the end of my rope 😞

Anxiety is winning
Hi ashanikita x Why do you think that your anxiety gets worse at night?
It's usually not a chemical reason in the evening but a psychological one.
Evening time should be a wind down period after having an active day.
Are you afraid to be alone? Are you alone?
It might help if you go into YouTube in the evening and listen to some calming
videos on lowering your Anxiety by doing some meditation and breathing.
By doing this on a daily basis, it can retrain your subconscious mind to think more
positively. Also what might help is changing your routine in the evening. When we
do the same thing each and every day/evening, the mind knows what to expect and
anxiety sneaks in.
This is your life and you owe it to yourself to not be overruled by anxious thoughts.
I wish you well. We are here for you if you need to talk. xx
I am currently alone, just me and my dog
I know right now just every day life with work and my dad being sick is a reason why it’s spiking
In the morning I am totally fine, around lunch time I am still fine... but as soon as 5pm starts inching closer, that is when my anxiety gets the best of me.
I have been stuck in the same mundane routine of getting off work, taking my dog for a walk, reading, scrolling through Instagram and then going to bed... only to wake up and do the same exact thing over again
I hear you. We all seem to get settled into a routine which may put us in a rut.
I'm sorry to hear that your dad is sick. I'm sure that plays a big part in your anxiety rising after work. Do you become his caregiver in the evening? Do you ever get to do something for yourself after 5pm? Even if a couple times a week, something that you
enjoy to do. I'm glad you are on this safe site which can give you a chance to vent. We
are here to listen. We are not doctors or therapists but just others like yourself going
through life with mental health issues. It does help to know we aren't alone in how we
feel. xx
Unfortunately I live 3 1/2 hours away
Thankfully my mom has been with him, so that makes me feel better!
Don't forget about ASMR on YouTube. There are many many channels of people doing quiet things. ASMR is supposed to put you to sleep or at the very least, relax your mind...
You must’ve sensed that I was still awake lol
Hi, so sorry to read how you've been feeling lately. How are you doing now? I know it's not easy but do remember you're not alone and we are here to support and encourage each other. Sending you hugs and lots of peace.
