I know this sounds absurd but I haven't a haircut in months due to COVID and I've seen an increase in anxiety. I'm wondering, since I'm about to get a haircut soon, will my mental health improve?

Can a haircut improve anxiety?
it might just make you feel a little better about yourself.
We women are all in the same position in the UK and like everyone I desperately need a haircut as I now look like the wild woman of the woods. I think not looking your best can increase anxiety levels so I would say your mental health would probably improve like everyone's when the hairdressers are allowed to open again.
Hairdressers have been open here since about last September. Everyone, however, just tiptoes to them, has much less frequent appointments and gets in and out as fast as possible.
Hello
Male or female I think not getting your haircut can add to anxiety and depression
When we are low and all we see is a mess looking back at us it does not help our mood
A haircut no doubt will lift your mood and make you feel better even though it may not solve all your issues but that feeling of looking yourself and good again will be nice
I think we are all looking forward to that and not long to wait now x
xx
If it turns out the way you want... otherwise it could lead to being more depressed. Talk to the haircutter and be sure they know exactly what you want. Been there done that and
have horror stories
😱
Yes, putting some make up on and doing your hair will make you feel better. It was some of the best advice my Mother gave me .. when/if I was down or anxious .. and yes, I am a woman. ✌😇
