Hi all, I’m new here and I’m in college. I turned 18 last year and slowly I’ve been realizing I’m an adult. I first realized it when I went to the doctor and the receptionist or whatever they’re called was asking for my consent on stuff. I’m not used to that. I don’t feel any different, except I’m obviously older, and I feel nervous because it’s a lot. I am now realizing the reality behind the sentiment “nothing’s free.” I haven’t kept up with covid because I’ve been busy with school and because touchy subjects make me nervous and I don’t know what sources to go to. I love learning though, so I educate myself on other topics. I just started taking a nasal spray for allergies, it hasn’t kicked in yet, but I hope it will eventually. Hope everyone’s doing well.

Hi Annegables124,

Welcome to adulting! It has some good and some bad points- but you’re here and there’s no going back!

You’re right- get your head down into your studies and stay safe and well.
