Bad dreams anxiety, pls help

Has someone who is old now (long life) ever got a dream in childhood of a demon (telling) them that they will not live long and die young?

I have as both young and older. When I was younger I use to dream that I would not live to see 30. When I got past that age I was always cautious of things around me. It was like waiting for something to happen to me. Got married. I translated that to it being the end of a single life.So now as an older person I get those same dreams. So I wonder did that mean I stopped working because of retirement?

There are so many ways to interpret things. I also have thought maybe that demon was me telling myself these things even though I didn't look like the demon, even when I didn't see it's face sometimes.

There are so many things that could be interpreted in your dreams.

There is a saying "young men dream visions and old men dream dreams".

Try not to take the dreams too seriously. Maybe you can keep a journal. Dreams are mysterious things and psychologists continue to have differing discussions about their meaning (or non-meaning).

Demons are mentioned in the Bible many times and they are terrified of Jesus if you are Christian you could say the Lords Prayer before you go to sleep and ask Jesus to protect you

I used to dream a lot...haven't in quite a while. I usually dream about the past and people in my family who have died. I don't get nightmares or bad dreams. As a matter of fact, the times I've dreamed about my dead father, mother or son, have been special because I felt "close" to them again.

Yes...I have had bad dreams and they are disturbing...I do remember having had them, but not often. Sometimes, they tend to linger with you after you have woken up and that can be 'depressing.' I hope your bad dreams go away or you will be to 'shake them off' and have a positive day.
