Anxiety is killing me slowly

Any tips how to really except anxiety? I've not really got much fight left in me

Accepting anxiety is difficult, my anxiety comes out at times in anger and hostility so I find myself apologizing quite often and it's embarrassing... However, you are who you are and you're so much stronger than you even know!! There are breathing exercises you can Google that will help, if you can feel it coming on then the exercises will help. I hope you feel better about the situation and I pray the breathing helps 🌻

Thanks for reply some days u feel stronger n better equipped to face anxiety some days just stay in bed hiding under the cover.

That is absolutely true... It seems more than you can handle and is best to sleep it away if possible. I like to get a nice book and lose myself in some other reality, it helps most times...

Hi anxiousman I read this reply and instantly agreed some days are so so draining and staying in bed seems like the only option other days you feel better, but self care is important if you feel like staying in bed and resting do that, I’ve read Claire Weekes are also has a few YouTube videos and they help me when I’m feeling low, hope you feel better soon

Thanks blondiful yeah some days are really hard it sucks having anxiety and even though friends n family sympathise, until you've been there you never know how bad it is. Im coming off mirtazapine and the insomnia is horrendous which inturn makes my anxiety unbearable. Anyway sorry for complaining hope all is well with you.

I understand it’s so exhausting and some days are harder than others.

Have you tried looking into the dare response. Google it. It teaches you how to accept anxiety and not fight it. They have a book and app. It’s not for everyone but worth a try. Got to try different things to see what works for you

Claire weekes books are also good.

I find breathing and exercise helps me.

Thanks for reply im at present reading hope n help for your nerves by claire weekes, ive read panic away and dare by Barry mcdonagh cover to cover loads of times, have downloaded the dare app n listen daily but when trying to accept anxiety I just can't do it, convinced I'm the one who if asks for sensation to intensify it will n have me loosing my mind.

Yes, I’ve read everything and still it’s a constant battle. It’s helps me knowing that I’m not the only one and other people are going through the same thing. In the moment of anxiety breathing helps me the most and exercising for my mood because it can really make me feel down since I’m always worrying about symptoms etc. Keep busy. Keep at it. 💪🏻

You have to give up the "fight"! surrender and accept ALL of your symptoms..It's not easy and will take some time..you seem to be at that point where it would happen for you anyway..hang in there (litterly) I've been where you are now..don't ever give up hope! I am 80% better than I was this time last year! like I said it's not easy! more like 2 steps forward 1 step back BUT if I can do it so can you!

Thanks for reply, yeah really trying to just accept all horrible feelings, just let it be so to speak but with my current insomnia I'm really struggling to accept, I'm just so sensitised right now. Well got to just telling myself one day soon I will feel better. Hope all is well with you.
