Hi everyone ...just wondering if anyone with tinitus in one ear or both has never had tests ie MRI or ent referral and have just lived with it and put up with it .just curious because I know tinitus is a very common complaint .x

Yes I have it mostly in my right ear , in fact I have it now and have done the last couple of weeks driving me mad to be honest

I have had a Sinus infection so imagine that will be the cause , it comes and goes in severity and I have been like this years , I never have been referred though and just got used to it even though it does put me in a bad mood

Wow well done for putting up with the horrible noise .only after 4 weeks I was referred .guess it's different in different places .I'm in Northamptonshire where are you ? X

I am in the Midlands , I suppose it all maybe depends and what the cause is mine usually gets worse like now and can fade to nearly nothing unless I get a cold , sinus things like that x
