Hello :-)

I am so sorry you have caught Covid :-(

How do you know you caught it in your own house as at 21 I would imagine you go out and about ?

You have had a test that has come back positive ?

If so you are going to be scared I thi even people that do not suffer with anxiety will feel fear if they are told they have covid but all we mostly hear are the horror stories of covid and yet there are so many that have had it and if it was not for having a routine test they did not know they even did have it because they felt well and there are people that have had it that have felt rough for a week or so and then back to their normal selves with no lasting effects and at your age I would imagine you will be in the latter group I mention

It is easy for me to say don't worry , but try and rest , tr and think of all the people that have had it and are fine and tell yourself you will be fine to and I hope you have a speedy recovery and will come back and tell us when you are better how you beat this covid which you will so others that fear it will be able to get comfort from your positive experience :-)

Take Care x

yeah, i most likely caught it from my family members in my house, they were sick and walking around. I got tested and it came back positive. I’m just scared I’m gonna get worst. I want this over with. My symptoms are very mild but I’ve heard of people having mild symptoms then getting severe in the next coming weeks

Hello :-)

Your Family were fine and there is no reason you won't be :-)

I know it does not stop you worrying but try and stop listening to what the papers etc are saying they only ever report things to put fear in us never report all the positive cases

Where my Son works 2 people had it and had it not been for they were tested they were so fit and did not even feel ill , they isolated of course but then they were still fine just enjoyed the time of I think

You will be ok , that anxiety is playing up but you will beat this and I look forward to you posting when you have :-) x

Not having a cough with COVID must be pretty rare. You could have tested positive from having symptomless COVID previously (and, given your age, that's entirely possible), but you are actually now suffering from the flu or something similar. Not sure whether that's any consolation, but at least I'm not aware of anything called long-flu or long-cold!

if your 21 and healthy statistically the chances of you developing a serious case of covid are very slim. You will be OK. Take care of yourself properly and you will be fine. Sometimes when we are anxious about something it is helpful to remind our selves of facts and statistics. It can be comforting.

Yes, I just need to constantly reassure myself. I definitely feel like I have the mild flu which I’ve dealt with many times but bc the symptoms are under a new name. my anxiety is just thru the roof and my biggest battle so far.

Hi

I can relate with covid and im just a little older then u, i just got tested positive and apart from one very rough day of symptoms of body aches, headache, fatigue, lethargy couldn't really move - it really wasn't pleasant but the next day i was a whole lot better and getting better everyday.

Eat healthy and have drinks like herbs/teas and support your immune system with the relevant vitamins (im taking C,D & zinc, among others)

Do u have a pulse oximeter ? You can use to check your blood oxygen levels, my whole familys levels did drop around 3-4% also thats probably normal. Mine at my worst temporarily dropped to 89% but not for long.

I got well pretty quick and if u have mild symptoms then u should too infact i think you'll recover better then me as i was having insomnia before this and all through this, sleeping around 5-6 hours a night.

4 days later im recovered 90% 😊

If u have any questions for me feel free to reply on here or privately, take care

Thank you so much. Yes today, my aches are little less. Just groggy from nyquil and a dry cough that comes every once in awhile. I also get short of breath if im up too long with chest discomfort but I’m trying to fight this mentally more than anything. I feel like the anxiety is the biggest battle
