ugh.. I was having a great day, sat down whilst my food was cooking, glanced over at my Fitbit and saw 58bpm and got spooked. it's usually never below 60bpm when I'm sat down. started to feel dizzy and panicky and scared myself into thinking my heart was gonna stop or something!! this is so frustrating.
I just had a chest x-ray done 2 months ago to check my heart (I was having chest pains but ended up being diagnosed with GERD) and everything came back totally normal but I can't stop worrying!
I know that 58bpm is hardly slow by any means compared to others but it always scares me. heart failure is a big fear of mine considering I'm bigger and not too active since I lost my job a couple months back. anyone else have the same worries?? my doctor is getting tired of me writing in saying I'm worried xx

you're absolutely right.. the fact that I was having a good day until I checked the Fitbit tells me all I need to know! I just keep going back to it, wondering what my HR is. I know it's not good for me to constantly worry about it. I should leave it up to my body and only worry if I feel unwell. I know my heart is stronger than I give it credit for but anxiety is an awful trickster!!
