Eye spots

I get flashes of white sometimes, sometimes I see little pieces of dark specs sometimes I feel like I see flashes it’s crazy does anyone else get this?

It could be an eye migraine. I had swirls and sometimes spots. I went to a eye doctor and he tested my eyes and said it was eye migraines. They stem from stress/anxiety. I can usually tell when they are coming on and try and relax if I can. Also make sure you give your eyes a break from phones and computers to let them rest. If it gets worse please see an eye doctor for a proper diagnosis.

Hi. Even as a child I used to 'see stars'. Never told a soul. Went on to suffer bad headaches in late teenage. Lots if variants since. Dr put it down to migraine. Always a good idea for everyone to have regular eye tests anyway x

Kinda scary sometime I see flashes of light or stuff like that

Every single day since I was 12. It gets worse whe I’m stressed and when I have a headache due to weather changes. But it’s not a brain tumor or anything sinister. I see dots, flashes, squiggly lines, and much more. Different colors too. But stress and anxiety really make it worse.

You are right. It can be scary and must be exhausting if you suffer daily. I go through phases where it can be daily and then nothing for weeks or maybe months. Do you ever get times when it is as if you have been staring at a bright light and the bright white light gets bigger but gradually starts to fade?. I think my optician called it white out. I had this several times and it worried me. It felt so scary and made me snappy with those around me. I was too scared to tell anyone what I was going through. I gradually learned tto deal with it and wait for it to run it's course. I wonder if anyone feels as fit as they appear.
