Heart constantly beat fast everyday

I can’t take this I’m not even anxious soon as I get up my heart is pounding and I’m dizzy I’m 16 my doctor didn’t seem to concerned about it but it’s going fast I’m scared it will stop beating my grandma don’t thinks it serious I just wanna cry

You should ask your doctor for a low dose of beta blocker such as propranolol it would really help to bring the heart rate down to a more normal level and it also gives you a calming feeling.

Hi Zhiyah, Even though your doctor is not concerned (and no, your heart is not going

to stop beating) as long as you are concerned, it will continue to beat fast.

You've developed a pattern now in anticipating that this will happen and so it does.

Grandma is right on this one in that you have your youth on your side which can make

it less serious.

Maybe, as Cajswansea suggested, your doctor can give you a little something to

control your anxiety which will help with the heart as well as dizziness. When those

two symptoms go away, so will your anxiety. xx
