One pain after another

Now I have a headache first I had chest pain and shoulders was tense tight and heavy now I have a migraine I can’t accomplish anything I have to or want to do I’m so upset

I hear you. I was just sitting here feeling normal and now my chest is hurting and everything is wobbly.. ☹️

Zhiyah, I remember the years I spent with daily tight muscles. I never got a break.

The pain became chronic. Anxiety took advantage of that and jumped from one

area of my body to another. Chest, neck, shoulders so tense and tight that it led

to Migraines several times a month with Muscle Contraction headaches the days

in between. I had no life. I was always in pain.

Until what is causing the stress is eliminated or we learn to live with it, the pain will

continue. This is about breaking the habit of "what we think is what we get".

We each have to find what works for ourselves. I've done it all from Self-Hypnosis,

Biofeedback, Imagery, Acupuncture, massage therapy, Exercise, Water Aerobics,

Living in the Present Moment, Meditation, Breathing and on and on.

The key in relieving pain is relieving Anxiety/Stress. There is a book written by

Dr. Claire Weekes entitled "Hope & Help for Your Nerves" which is a good foundation

in going forward. Her theory is the practice of Acceptance with Anxiety. The more we

fight the feeling, the harder it takes hold. Her videos are on YouTube as well.

Being on this forum, you will learn what others have used. Take what works for you

and throw away the rest. We all react differently. Once you find what works, practice,

practice and practice again. Making the method or tool a new way of life for you, will

make you reach your goal. Anxiety free...Your life will be yours once more. :) xx

I know how you feel , I get migraines and if not that then it is something else the list goes on

Yes I have HA but sometimes it can be hard to try and accept what is real and what is your anxiety

Acceptance is the way to go but again can be difficult once this takes control

A day at a time though :-)

Z, headaches, chest pains and tense muscles go right along with anxiety and depression. I get so stressed that my muscles hurt because they are so tight. Now I occasionally get a massage but mainly try to stretch at the end of each day. Hope that helps.
