Health Anxiety Blood Test worried

Hi,

I’m wondering if someone could give me some advice. I suffer from GAD generalised Anxiety Disorder and I have recently started citalopram. Before starting I have felt dizzy, had heart palpitations and feel like the floor is sinking beneath me.

I spoke to my GP and demanded a blood test as I have never had one and have experienced bleeding gums. I have a phobia of Leukaemia as I lost my family member at a young age to this disease.

I went for my blood test this morning and when she started to take My blood, blood started to run down my arm and she asked me If I am On any medication or take any blood thinners for my blood. In which I don’t she cleaned my arm and the bleeding stopped but now I am Worried this is abnormal and I am convinced I have LukemiA due to bleeding this easy during the blood test and other symptoms etc.

Is this normal, as it’s never happened to me before.
