Heart flutter and cant breathe

Can anyone relate to this, last night i felt like my heart stopped for a second or two, i couldnt breathe, when it passed i had a hot flush come over me followed by a need to race to toilet with stomach cramps, ive had the heart thing happen in past but not followed by flush and upset tummy, i did not feel sick at all??

Is it almost like a shock feeling in the area of your heart ? If so I’ve had that a lot lately as my anxiety has gotten worse and I was told by my doctor that it was anxiety still can not come to the fact that it really may just be anxiety

Mines like it stops for second then cant breath then comes good, still dont want that again

Have you ever tried magnesium powder in warm water that can help some to calm a bit of the anxiety- I do this am having it right now to try & calm me so I can sleep. Calming sounds , sometimes I try asmr online podcasts to calm me with soothing sounds of nature- ocean waves, or forest sounds whatever works for you there’s soo many diff types also maybe try calming herbal teas. Beautiful soothing Music with earbuds while you lay down &try to rest. Just some ideas -I hope something may work for you!

Never tried it, I’m stubborn when it comes to things I hear one thing and don’t believe it and end up trying to find another reason for the problem, like I have these sleep teas and I tried it maybe 3 times & idk if it actually helped me fall asleep or if it was just naturally my body was too tired to stay up any longer

I understand about the teas I feel similar- although I hav found 1 or 2 I know have helped me sleep better but a dozen that didn’t do much you just have to hit on the right thing for you- because we are not-one size fits all!! just magnesium is an important mineral many are lacking same with b vitamins our bodies need these and They are easily depleted by stress, environment& things like alcohol and more so if we are deficient in them we can have stronger symptoms of stress and anxiety! I’ve studied nutrition and natural health and still trying to learn more it’s something sorely needed!!

Yes well im wondering if im peri, recent female hormone tests say im not but im not so sure how accurate these are?

Hi , I’m an RN and it sounds like a PVC..It happens to everyone but when you get anxious or stressed they happen more , try not to worry

Thankyou it hasnt happened again since friday night so im glad, ive had alot of stuff physically going on for last year now which unable to diagnose, i do think im starting peri though but tests not confirming, also have hashimotis since 2006 but never had a problem with this, thankyou for reassuring me .

The heart is very sensitive and reacts to stress hormones and release of adrenaline when anxious . That’s when you may feel these fluttering and increased PVC’s .

I have felt this and it's terrifying!!! Its sk hard to gain control when so much is going on, i try to do something to change my mind, ice water, sour candy anything. Stay strong. xoxo
