Worried about my health

I experienced mild vertigo about 2 weeks ago and it really set off my health anxiety. It kind of went away but I still feel off balance. My ears also feel weird and full. It’s hard to tell what’s real and what’s anxiety. Im pretty sure i have something wrong with my ears bc before this i was deeply “cleaning” my ears with qtips.. knowing i shouldn’t. I have a doctor appointment next week so im hoping it’s just that and not a brain tumor like my anxiety is telling me lol also nervous about going to the doctor bc of all this corona stuff. I don’t want to catch anything. This is just not fun in general. I need positive thoughts.

It’s quite possible that you’ve been packing the wax in with the Q tip . I know it seems like you get lots out, but the stuff at the back could be compacted . Let the doctor take a look inside on your appointment , I am sure you are healthy.also , have you tried using Sudafed? I know ears and nose are all connected

Hahahahaha joker 😂, I actually went to the chippy and got some chips to have with my beans .

in reply toRyan990

What you went out :-o

If you risked leaving the house I would have saved the beans and had fish chips and peas or something so to vary my diet a little :-D x

I don’t eat fish , I was all good getting just chips . The chippy is only a two min walk for me anyways

in reply toRyan990

Don't they do a pie or anything :-D

Well I want a post at the end of all this from you on 101 ways to cook baked beans so that will keep you busy :-D x

To be fair, I am less stressed about this virus now, so I can go get some extra bits from the store. I see Japan has found a decent semi cure for the virus , not a complete one, but it’s very successful on the Chinese so far. And I am currently writing a book on baked bean overdose warnings

in reply toRyan990

That malaria tablet ?

Fingers crossed they have because un like you I am not as cool with all this at all :-o

Well even though you ca get out I would go early as the supermarkets are nearly empty as soon as they open , other than a few tins of baked beans left over :-D x

Yes I think that’s it, the malaria tab. To be honest , I am carrying on as normal now , my faith is in god, if it’s my time to get sick , then that’s what he intended. So I have lost my fear

Hello :-)

I have vertigo and it is not very nice at all and when you first start suffering it can be quite frightening over the years I have got more used to it

I was also told not to use Q tips as it can impact the wax in your ears and cause problems

You may need your ears syringing which I had to have done once but only they will be able to tell when they take a look

I must say though sadly I have known a few people with brain tumours and these were not the symptoms , don't go looking them up though but they never complained about what you are and I have had the symptoms like you on and of for years and it has never been a brain tumour

Let us know how your appointment goes :-)

Take Care x

Thank you so much. I believe it’s something with the wax. I will forsure update you guys on the appointment. I appreciate the kind words

in reply toanxiousalexis

You could also try steaming with some vicks in a bowl , it may help to clear you stuffiness :-)

I am sure everything will be ok , I suffer as well with my ears and sinus , all related , it will be something simple like that but they will sort it out :-) x

so my appointment got cancelled. im guessing bc of everything going on. so i dont know what imma do.

in reply toanxiousalexis

O I am so sorry to hear this but not surprised as Doctors now seem to be only seeing people that they feel are in immediate need which as a positive they don't think you have a Brain tumour or they would have seen you on a negative though it does not stop you feeling so rough

It sounds to me you have some kind of congestion which I suffer from , you could try some ear drops or warm olive oil and like I said steaming with vicks

You could contact Boots the pharmacy and ask to speak to someone , they are very good and may be able to give you some advise how to ease this :-)

Keep us updated how you get on :-) x

i didnt think about that. i guess it’s not serious. thank you. im gonna try those suggestions

in reply toanxiousalexis

I know the appointment was canceled , did they not say when they would be able to see you or what you should do ?

If not I would try and phone them as well and ask but try not to worry it won't be a BT , I have dreadful congestion , vertigo , sinus problems , ear problems I sometimes wonder if they come hand in hand could even be an allergy thing you just need them to tell you and what to use :-)

I really do hope one of them will help and you get some relief from all this :-) x

Sometimes we have a little banter on here to try and break up the intensity what this anxiety brings , I forgot though this is your post , I do apologise :-) x

I had vertigo, it’s as simple as prescribed medication. I know many people that had that, No brain tumors, a symptom of that is a headache. Good thing you have a doctors appointment. TIP don’t get up Fast, that can trigger it?
