I know this is the only think I post about and I’m very sorry... I don’t know why but every time my boyfriend touches me in a non sexual way like around my thighs or something I get so scared of becoming pregnant. I know this sounds odd but I’ve heard so many stories about girls getting pregnant through mutual masturbation where the guy had his fluids in his hands when he touched her. I know this isn’t the case with me especially Bc we don’t do any sexual things but I am always scared of becoming pregnant in ways where pregnancy can’t happen like my boyfriend touching my thigh in a NON SEXUAL way.

I’m sorry
I have to agree with you.
Lol x
I am 17 years old. I struggle with anxiety and I was never formally educated about the birds and the bees and I am not sexually active. I was told these things by my parents to keep me from doing anything sexual
I strongly recommend setting up an appointment with a Gynecologist. Just an establish care visit you can go in and ask all the questions you have. Don’t ever think a question is ridiculous. That is what they are there for and they have heard it all. Most providers will applaud you for going in to ask your questions to be sure you are safe and can talk about possible birth control options as well even if you’re not sexually active which might put your mind at ease as well as make you prepared for when you do decide to become sexually active.
Please go talk to a dr about this
I am on the road to getting better thankfully. I actually have a phobia they say about becoming pregnant which is why I have these irrational fears as well al Generalized Anxiety Disorder and depression. They say phobias as a part of anxiety disorders which I unfortunately have.
It does Ryan thank you. It helps to hear it from someone else so I truly appreciate that
Hi Lizbeth. There is no need to be sorry. We all have our unique problems with anxiety, and this just happens to be what you're dealing with. All anxiety disorders are based on irrational fear, and your fear, like many, is very specific.
Here are a couple of good websites about worrying in general that have helped me a lot. The first one is more of an overview:
helpguide.org/articles/anxi...
And if that helps, this one goes into far greater detail:
cci.health.wa.gov.au/resour...
Hope this helps!
Thank you so much! It helps me a lot when people are as kind as you. Thank you!
Lizbeth, Im guessing you and or your family are religious most likely. My wife grew up around parents who also never sat down with her and explained sexual maturity either. However her mother did use a lot of fear tactics about sex that led to other issues that were just as damaging. So unfortunately through just one sided views of parents and religion this leads to fear and anxiety over very normal human interactions. With that being said there are numerous precautions that should be taken for the health of all life that is or could be involved with sexual activity. I used to be a Pastor and unfortunately I feel like most religions do a very one sided view of human interactions especially with sex. So dont be afraid but do take precautions. Better educate yourself. My wife done a lot of reading for herself from credible sources such as womens health books and sites. Also if you havent already you should be seeing a gynecologist. Ask questions. I know its probably embarrassing or maybe even intimidating but they are professional and are there to be objective and helpful. Otherwise speak to another trusted female family member or friends mother. I hope you get thee comfort you need.
You can't get pregnant unless sperm is able to reach your egg. Sperm can only move through fluid so a touch on your thigh couldn't do it, even if your boyfriend had ejaculate on his fingers when he did it. The sperm wouldn't be able to cross the dry skin to your vagina.
Theoretically yes you can get pregnant if the man ejaculates on his hand and then touches your vagina, though it's not very likely. The sperm would have a much longer "swim" than usual so they're less likely to make it. If he put his finger inside you, that would make it a bit more likely. If you had full sex, though, you would end up with about a teaspoonful of ejaculate inside you, which would obviously be vastly more than a smear on a finger. Men produce that much because it's needed for a good chance of conception.
Almost all sperm is released when the man has an orgasm. When men get aroused they produce a small amount of fluid but this contains very few or no sperm. It's unlikely therefore that you would get pregnant just from this. Withdrawal is not a good way of avoiding pregnancy but that's mainly because the man might not actually withdraw!
I hope this helps, you say you were never taught this stuff so of course you need to ask. I don't know why people made such negative comments. We're all here because of anxiety and one of the symptoms is that you worry about odd things sometimes, I suffer from that myself.
There's a wonderfully helpful YouTube video series called,
sexplanations . I suggest watching all of those videos, perhaps starting with this one. youtu.be/xf1KlQ-Pdvg
