I know some in this community have went through things that have brought about anxiety. There was probably something you went through , that brought upon Anxiety Dis-Order or Panicky moments. (( example : Maybe , you couldn’t swim and got in the pool, and felt anxious because you didn’t know how to do a thing , ran out and never went near water — or fell off a horse and you’ve gotten anxious behind it))
Ok, so you’ve eventually moved on, and things are on the mend , right? Well, there’s maybe a person , thing , or saying or action someone has done to you or maybe something YOU did , that’s reminded you of something —brings you back to that scenario that’s brought upon the anxiety dis-order. In THAT moment, how do you deal, calm yourself down & bring yourself back to being YOU again.
This is for anyone who’s been through it. Also, share tips because I know it’ll help someone else.

When we get worked up, it’s very hard to think rationally. I try my hardest to replace the negative thoughts with positive thoughts. When things feel as if they’re falling apart, I try to think about all of the things that I do have and all of the things that I’m thankful for. Taking time out for myself has been so important. I will shut the world off even for just an hour and do what I feel like doing, even if it’s just taking a nap. I’ve heard that meditating really helps some people. It takes practice, but I definitely think it would be beneficial. I’ve tried a few times, but I lose my patience here and there because it’s not an immediate relief. I also try to take a deep breath through my nose, fill up my lungs, and slowly blow it out of my mouth.
