I try very hard to work on self care with my long term GAD and panic disorder, as this is so important to help prevent things spiralling out of control (I definitely don't always succeed)!

Christmas is always tough for me anxiety wise, but January/early February always seems to be the 'come down' after the hectic festive season too. More depressive feelings, and worrying what the year ahead will bring (classic anxiety rumination)!

How are you all coping at this time of year to keep things positive? I'd love to hear your experiences and tips. Thank you!💜

hi I think most people have some sort of hangover when it comes to new year and I don't mean from alcohol.we spend weeks on end worrying about Christmas new year is a bit of an anti climax its like we expect a sudden jolt of enthusiasm a jolt of happiness and optimism going into the new year and it doesn't always turn out that way I wish it did mind you.set yourself little goals for each month to achieve and every one you accomplish give yourself a proper treat.
