Been on SERTRALINE and had to come off it . Since being on it on an increased dose to 100mg and now nearly 3 weeks off it i’m having terrible leg sensations that feel like scratching nerve pain really random places (top of foot, side of ankle, middle of calve then the other leg in random places). It can be sharp shooting pain too! Crawling in the legs, fizzing feeling, pinching feeling. Been to docs and said it’s not a pinched nerve in back as I have slipped discs 10+years ago!
I’ve convinced myself I’ve got fibromyalgia or MS as it’s so weird and i’m worried!!
Anyone else had any similar experiences and especially if it goes away as i’m so scared I’ll be stuck like this!!!!!

I've never been on Sertraline..But i do have the sensations that you have describe. I have Chronic Fibromyalgia Syndrome and Rheumatoid Arthritis.
The sensations are so intense with me that I can describe them as very, very painful.
I get them in both my arms, both of my legs and my feet. Sometimes I even have them in my Tummy and in the top of my back. 😢
Sometimes it gets so bad that it feels like I'm being stung by dozens of wasps, but from the inside outwards. It's so bad that it makes me cry.😭 Like now
My Pain Management Doctors have told me that it's the Fibromyalgia.
I'm so sorry for you if you do have Fibromyalgia.🤔 It's such a debilitating, horrible disease.!!!!...
I haven’t been diagnosed but I do tell my doctor that doesn’t seem to answer me. I’ve just started Gabapentin as it feels like nerve pain. But stinging is a good explanation of it. I get sharp shooting pains in weird pains like across my knee cap or across my heel. Im waiting for a neurologist appt at the moment
I hope it isn’t but it does seem likely
Just been through a bout of stress and signed off work
Oh Kayak, i hope that it's more from Stress than Fibromyalgia.
You can have these nerve pains anywhere in your body. Doctors are useless sometimes🤔. If they don't see it,👀👀 you haven't got it. Fibromyalgia doesn't show up on XRAYS or Blood tests. 👨🍳
The Consultant will have to rule out what you haven't got before they make a diagnosis of what you have got.
My Neurologist told me that I had Fibromyalgia, neuropathic pain syndrome, like Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. 😥 They tried me on Gabapentin. But they didn't help the pain, just made me feel giddy.
So now I am on Pregablin and the Butrans Patches They gave me Oral Morph but i couldn't take that either because i felt nauseous and giddy all the time. But nothing seems to be helping. anymore.😱😰.
I hope the Neurologist that you see is a good one and can help you out with the pain..👍
