Since I’ve gotten anxiety I’ve had trouble with my throat feeling like a lump is in it and it gets tight randomly like an allergic reaction then talking seems like a chore because my voice seems like it’s changing during this time. It goes on for about a day at most two then goes away for a few weeks and returns. I been dealing with anxiety for about 6 months and it’s bothersome, most of it I understand more of the things that come with it now, but I want to know if anyone else is having this issue ?

Throat problems
Omg do
you feel like you just can’t breathe?
I get that feeling too
Idk if it’s anxiety or something else ):
That’s called Globus hysteria it’s very normal with anxiety. Your throat get a little tight like any muscle would from tension. It won’t hurt you it’s just a little scary because it makes you think something bad is wrong but you’ll be ok.
Yep, this is one of my most annoying symptoms. I have acid reflux so it happens to me a lot since my throat gets irritated and I fixate on it.
Absolutely!! All the time. Very common for anxiety sufferers.
Scared me very much at first too.
Had every medical test done possible.
Yes! I am dealing with this right now. Feels like it’s being squeezed and there is a lump in it. It’s making me panic.
What I noticed helps for me, try n relax in a quiet place, and focus on something other than that. The more I think about it the more I feel afraid and start thinking negative like something is wrong and going to happen. Keep your mind busy, and dining room temperature stuff rather than cold I feel helps as well
