Severe Panic

Hey everyone...

It’s been a while since I’ve been on medication and I haven’t had a panic attack in a while... until now. Idk what happened but all of a sudden I felt fear of death and my heart started pounding and Started to have chest pains! Now I’m freaking out! And since I haven’t had a panic in a while I feel like I’m going to die! 😫 I hate this feeling and I’m having Derealization which is making it so much worse for Me

It's always the worst when it comes out of nowhere and you've sort of forgotten how panics can be. And death is always the first thing we think is happening.

Thank you. Woke up this morning feeling so weird now after that big panic last night.. sigh I wish this never existed

Hope you feel better, can you observe anything that might have triggered it? I've been off meds for a few months after being on them for more than 10 years, I felt emotions I haven't felt for a long time. It will pass.

That happened to me, I broke down crying at my mechanics just getting a oil change. I'm afraid to go out sometime afraid I'll faint? I talk myself out of going out. I order things online so I can just run in and pick them up and leave. Are you in counseling? I stopped going for awhile for financial reasons. I'll be able to start going back this month, my new insurance will pay for it. So look in counseling if not already?
