Urgent Referral two week rule

I have been referred to dermatologist on a urgent appointment with suspected cancer and I’m absolutely petrified

Literally petrified.

Hoping toe nail is just a bruise and nothing else and hoping I’m still here in many more years to come to dish out advice.

But right now this very second I feel so empty

My whole life is over literally feel that it’s the end

Please help someone.

I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you. My dad recently had a black/brown looking round bit under his nail. He was also sent under the two week rule with suspected cancer. He was seen within 4 days by a dermatologist and a sample was taken, it turned out that it was a type of fungus not cancer so there is always hope.

Hi I too hope it's nothing serious but even it is the big C it's a far cry from your life being over. Most c's are very curable these days especially if it's caught early so it is very unlikely to be the worst case scenario. x

Just 2 months ago I thought the same way. I was told that I may have Breast Cancer and it turned out to be negative! God and prayer are your best friends at this point; I had the church and everyone around me praying and it worked.
