Sometimes I will just look up and then think I see something but then it vanishes after a second. The first time this happened was I looked up out the window while washing dishes and I thought I saw my cat but after a split second it went away. This time tonight it happened when my mom was giving me something I looked up and thought I saw a figure in the kitchen for a second but then it went away within a split second. Now that I am typing this out I really feel like I am crazy...I have generalized anxiety disorder and hypochondria. These instances don't happen often and when they do it literally happens for a split second and then its gone. I don't hear voices that aren't there, I don't see people/objects that aren't there. They don't vanish after a few seconds, it is literally I look up, see it, my mind registers it as something and bam its gone. All in less than a second. I will say, I have really bad floater in my vision as i am heavily nearsighted. And I have talked to my eye doctor about it and she is not concerned about any of it as I am overly anxious, and have terrible vision. It does not happen on the road or anything. It just happens for like a split second...am I nuts? Does this happen to anyone else?

Does anyone ever see something for a split second when looking up, and then it vanishes after a second?
plushie, you are not nuts, you are not going crazy. Your eye doctor is not concerned.
It's happened to me at times, for a split second. The difference is I don't worry about
it or give it a second thought. It happens for whatever reason. Once it's checked out
believe in your doctor. She is the expert. xx
I dont get this but I get split second hearing loss at times it’s really weird.
I get these split second visuals as you describe them.
I know I'm not losing my mind. I see it then I double check it to make sure there's nothing really there
I will say it's happened more since my dog died two years ago. I honestly feel sometimes it's him... so let's talk crazy lol.
Hi this is completely normal and it happens to everyone at times. You say you have floaters? Well so do I and this can be a cause too. Stop worrying. x
I get this a lot. Once it happens once I get worried about it and then it happens more. I think it’s definitely an anxiety thing x
Where I live, that’s the sun...
