Just wanting to know does anyone else get this weird thing that happens , sometimes !!

When I bend over to pick something up my heart will absolutely race madly , I get a funny feeling in my chest . It scares the hell out of me . It happened yesterday afternoon . It only lasts for a minute or so .

Yes! When I bend into my daughters cot to pick her up out of bed is when it happens the most. Or when picking stuff up off the floor! I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one, I’m having a monitor on for a week in a couple of weeks so if it happens when I’m wearing the monitor I will write it down and see if it’s picked up as anything on monitor when I see the cardiologist.

I’ll update you when I know. I’m also having an echocardiogram (I’ve literally had both of these tests done before and other than a couple episodes of SVT and some PVCs nothing significant has come up) but I didn’t get any of the weird beats when bending when I had the monitor last time. Dr didn’t say much to be honest, was rushed in and out as he was running late 🙄

Lol yeah seems to be no one really wants to invest their time in a early 30s female when it comes to heart health. I have a friend who actually thought she was having a heart attack a couple of weekends ago. She all of a sudden become breathless, chest pain and pain shooting down her arm. Her partner rushed her to hospital and they told her she needed to calm down it was “probably stress” and asked her if she wanted an endone for the pain! This is my local hospital which has more or less treated me the exact same. However if it were a man presenting in the same way they would automatically been suspected of HA. The health system is a joke at times, just like when I had my 1st gallbladder attack I thought I was dying, worse pain than child birth! Hubby rushed me into ER I couldn’t walk I was doubled over in pain. Dr was like it’s probably heartburn 😡 they finally gave me morphine and I was able to call my mum who said tell them it’s your gallbladder! Sure enough that’s what it was. Dr sure looked embarrassed when I was right. Treated me like I was drug seeking when I’d never even had anything stronger than nurofen.

Far out that’s not good at all . And yer your right if it was a male first thing would be a HA . Can I ask are you in Australia ? As our main hospital close to us is a nightmare . It sounds the same . 😤
