Heart stick and Anxiety

Hi everyone I just freaked out I am at work and I felt like someone sticked me in my heart or chest area. It happened sudden then it's gone.also getting tight knots in my back below my left should bone. Any one ever gets the heart stick, so scared and worried now.

Hi Drene,

I experience this too. It feels like a sharp pain or a shock and it only lasts a second or two and then goes away, is that what you mean? I get them in my chest and upper back. I also have tight knots in my upper back and in the muscle around my rib cage on the left.

Everything I’ve looked up says these pains are muscle/skeletal pains, not heart. But I am not a doctor, so if you’re really worried, get it checked out.

Thank you. And yes the stick happens fast then goes away fast
