My husband has episodes like what you've described. They started a few years ago and he went to the GP who then referred him onto the ENT department at the hospital. After some tests it was diagnosed as menieres disease which is a condition of the inner ear. When it flares up that's when he has the drunk dizziness feeling. Medication has helped massively. I would suggest going to the GP just so all ear conditions could be investigated. Hope this helps

Hi Hun thank you for the reply!

My GP did say once that it’s vertigo which I believe is to do with the inner ear! So maybe it is something like that. It comes and goes x

Also they can prescribe you anti sickness medicine for this condition. It would help you a lot. Hope you feel better soon.

Yes, my sinuses sometimes get congested and I think I’ve cleared them ...til I get that drunk feeling or my ears get sore smh. I haven’t really had a drunk feeling with anxiety....maybe after a panic thing ...I get this hungover feeling and want to take a nap. Lol

I feel exactly like that when I get gluten cross contamination. Before I figured out that I was severely intolerant to gluten, I would get like that a lot. Now, it's my first symptom of being glutened.

It’s a really good thing we have this forum. We would never have half of the knowledge we get from people here, from doctors. Thanks I will look into the Gluten thing online.

I am dizzy all the time. I wonder if it’s gluten, I never thought of that. I also started taking B12 supplement bc if you’re deficient it can make you dizzy.

I had to have B12 injection and it did make a difference. My GP said I’m too young to be having the injections and I thought well there just be a reason why
