Can anybody out there share their positive stories since taking Zoloft. How long until you noticed the benefits and to what extent did it eliminate your anxiety disorder/ panic disorder. Thanks!

I would like to keep it positive.

I started Zoloft 25mg in April. For me it took the full 8 weeks to see real improvement, but that was coming from complete burn out. I slowly increased to 75mg over 3 months and am nearly normal again but had to take leave from work and counselling to get there. Still some breakthrough anxiety but much more manageable now. Keep in mind, others see relief a bit faster and everyone is different but that was my experience.

For me it took almost five full months and several increases to see improvement in my anxiety. I was at rock bottom when I started. Eventually ended up at 150/day. When I started I couldn’t leave the house or drive and today I’m back to my ‘normal’ self. Do not give up- for many people it takes much longer than the 6-8 weeks. In my case, I still have small flares of anxiety but it quickly dissipates.
