So I have made a final decision to quit vaping.. started off my summertime job the worst way, same “anxiety” symptoms, all physical, along with intense fear of dying. It’s 2pm at the moment, and I haven’t vaped since I woke up, which was at 8:30am. I took my pills, beta blockers and anti-anxiety pills, I got to work and decided to drink nescafe, (coffee) to distract myself from nicotine cravings. But later, I started getting severe dizziness, my legs started feeling weak and wobbly, tight throat, breathing was awfully difficult and shallow, and a new symptom, nausea. Good old nausea, making me restless. Heart rate is so slow, that I thought it would stop, new worry that my symptoms will get way worse after I quit vaping..please help, I am really scared and this is my last hope of anxiety getting better.. --edited---

Has anyone felt a massive difference in anxiety symptoms and breathing after quitting vaping/ aka smoking the e-cig??
If you were vaping nicotine, then what you are describing could be nicotine withdrawal.
And the symptoms with that are making underlying anxiety worse.
Maybe try to wean down and don't go cold turkey .
Smoking/vaping is a coping mechanism of some sort so find some new healthy alternate ones.
Yes. My anxiety & health anxiety got really bad when I had been vaping for almost a year. Health anxiety was extreme...ct scans, doctors visits, etc. Doctors never found one thing even remotely wrong. I think the health anxiety caused me to develop some depersonalization. But I quit nicotine on June 10, and anxiety has improved. I still have my days tho, but I feel improvements. Worst part is the extreme fatigue, low heart rate. But once you realize you’re going to be fine without the nicotine, it makes the quitting process much easier.
You should really try to stay off any kind of neuro stimulants if you suffer from anxiety. That'll be things like caffeine, nicotine, pre-workouts and energy drinks. Your brain is super sensitive to alot of stuff so watch what you eat. There could be alot of triggers you dont even know about yet. I'd recommend taking a look and Jordan Petersons daughters blog mikhailapeterson.com/ and then maybe try to restrict your foods for a while to see if it helps.
