Hi its me again. I've posted about my GAD and social anxiety before. I was on a 2 week vacation break and I travelled to Europe for the whole 2 weeks. I felt much better as I did not even bothered to think that I had GAD and social anxiety. Upon returning to Singapore, suddently all the school commitments hit me like a rock. I missed 2/3 of my common test paper and there is one re-test next Wednesday. I picked up the paper and I could not seem to memorise or understand them. My friends think that I am just trying to take an easy way out and am weak to escape from my commitments. I really just want to punch them in the face and they are not understanding at all. Their comments really hurt me a lot. I really feel very burned out from all the exams and assignments and my course chair gave me an option to take either a gap semester or a gap year but the implications are severe. If I took a gap semester or a gap year, I will not get to see my friends (who are very good at project assignments; I will never have to worry about the quality) and with social anxiety, it will not help in making me blend in with my juniors. I really need your advice in this crucial period.
