Ever since I strained to hard yesterday to pass my bowels I’ve had this weird headache that stings and brings tingles to my arms and neck plus have pain in my shoulders and my neck. The muscles in my head are also twitching but I’m getting really nervous. I messaged a doctor, he said it’s nothing to worry about it’s just an irritated nerve but of course google brings the worst out of you! I’m scared about brain problems :(

Why not treat the cause. Straining to open your bowel means you are probably constipated. If so, increase fibre and fluids or try some Lactulose. Straining can also raise your blood pressure temporarily which may cause a headache.
