I have been experiencing this for a few weeks - driving me bonkers!

I have ‘episodes’ of it from time to time.

If there’s hearing loss associated with it, it could well be a sign of excess ear wax - plenty of over the counter treatments for that.

Have a look at this link, tinnitus is really common and usually harmless and without any cause.

I've had it out 4 years, even had MRI, and nothing.

I put mine down to clenching my jaw when stressed and throughout the night, sometimes I wake and my teeth hurt.... Try not to worry xx

Totally normal anxiety thing. I have seen a lot of your posts and after being seen by a doctor and cleared, I think you would really benefit from seeing a therapist. It's hard to have anxiety (and especially health anxiety) and learning ways to talk yourself down and cope are really helpful and a therapist will do that :) I have been where you are with buzzing ears that feel full and stuffy. I have had dizziness, numb extremeties, pain in my arm, pain in my chest, feeling like I can't breathe, headaches, etc. But my anxiety caused it all and being able to talk myself off the ledge helped tremendously.

Thats your vagus nerve acting up. Ringing in my ear happens to me when I have vagus nerve flares. It makes be suseptible to passing out and adrenaline surges. Diet and stress affect mine.

hi there! Iv'e had ringing in the ears for years and in fact I have very sensitive hearing, which isn't good because hearing loud sudden noises make me jump.

I'm English living in the USA, and today is July 4th, which means "Fireworks". I absolutely HATE fireworks!! Wish I was deaf sometimes... I have a toy poodle that hides in the closet and shakes because he is so scared of loud explosions.

I think about how frightening it must be for the wildlife. Disrespectful humans letting off fireworks in their backyards....so stupid if you ask me! All these loud noises through my life probably caused Tinnitus.

No, I have Tinnitus too. It is just a pain in the ass, and increases anxiety. Thyroid issues can cause tinnitus. But, I'm no Doc, I would ask your Doc to be sure. Or find a rare Dr. Who knows much about thyroid issues or tinnitus. Go to Amazon and look up: Medical Medium Thyroid healing the.....
