So I'm trying to figure out if it's ok to take Tylenol while taking atorvastatin (for cholesterol)
Been googling and there's no straight answer - Anxiety Support
Been googling and there's no straight answer
I also take atorvastatin.....but when i get a headache I take Tylenol
my doctor knows this and hasn't told me to not do so
hopefully this is helpful
webmd.com/interaction-check... its says no interactions
Both can actually be hard individually
on your liver. I don’t know that it’s contraindicated. Call the pharmacy where you get your atorvastatin. They can give you a more concrete answer. I was never told not to take Tylenol when on my Lipitor. (Atorvastatin)
Any medication questions can be answered by your local pharmacy. Especially if they are providing the Med to you and they have better hours than your doctor.
Call your doctor please.xx
I have been on Lipitor max dose of 80mg Of for the past 10 years.
I have also been taking Tylenol as required.
There mechanisms of action are completely different and there are no contraindications to taking them.
I would wait 1 hr apart just to ensure the drugs are well absorbed.
I take cholesterol Meds too, so for anything I've taken had been ok. You can't trust everything on the Internet. Best thing to do is call your pharmacist when in doubt. That's what they do BEST.
