Shannon97 many of us think the worse when it comes to Lungs ,Blood tests can tell a lot of things including whether you have Cancer or not ! (Apparently they can't tell whether it's benign or not though) I believe Blood tests can tell if you have inflammation on the lungs as well but am not sure, If your GP thought you had a problem with your lungs the stethoscope can tell most things that are wrong with them ,then blood tests and in some cases a scan. I hope you stop worrying now he/ she has said that they are ok, Good Luck and all the best Derek
Yeah of course it can. In simple terms it picks up on how much oxygen is in your blood cells etc. Blood tests have come a long way and can tell a doctor or specialist almost anything.
