Wondering if anyone else has this issue. Seeking reassurance here, LOL. Lately I have been going to sleep around 10-11 and waking up every hour. Once I’ve done this two or three times, I wake up for a few hours then go back to sleep. I don’t know if that makes sense, so I’ll give you an example from last night:
1130 - go to sleep
130am - wake up to move my head to the other side
230am - wake up again, only this time I stay awake.
645am - finally go back to sleep
730am - wake up to move my head
9am - wake up to move my head (LOL)
1030am - wake up for good
Is this dangerous? I feel like it is and I feel like I’ve done every thing by the book. I keep all electronics out of the bedroom. The bedroom stays nice and cool and I’m actually very comfortable in bed. I don’t watch TV or scroll my phone before bed. I’ve made it a point to make my bedroom where I sleep and that’s it.
Lately, I’ve been having a lot of health anxiety because of feeling like I’m on a boat pretty much all day (see my first post in this forum). It’s been going on for two weeks today, and I think I’m subconsciously worrying myself to death over it, thus creating a bad sleep experience.
Does anyone else go through this? And no, I will not take medication for this.
