Anxiety out of control

Omg! Two days ago I was feeling just fine...I wasn’t feeling any pain then once I took that medicine (omeprazole) I start having chest pains, short of breathe, dizziness, confusion, gas...etc. aniexty completely spiraled out of control. Today I had my worse panic/aniexty attack ever while I was at work...I honestly felt like I was about to past out. I don’t know what is happening to me but I’m afraid & I am now afraid of being alone, afraid to sleep omg!!! I’m actually starting to believe I’m suffering from some internal illness. My aniexty is starting to effect my work life. I now owe hundreds of dollars from seeing doctors but I’m still not feeling any better whatsoever. I am completely lost & don’t know what to do.

I have been in your position too!!! Taking a new medicine gives me anxiety because I always worry about side effects. I end up having worse anxiety at the beginning because I get so nervous.

New meds can take time to get used to but I would suggest you call your doctor to report these symptoms you’re having. It may end up you simply need to try a new med! It’s totally normal to have to try a few different ones until you find the perfect one.

Also - just know that it WILL get better. I had a horrible panic attack the other day and today I have felt really good. Just know that it will get better!
