Pressure and tightness

Is it normal for me to feel tightness or pressure at the back, sides, front, or top of my head? It makes me feel kinda off. Is this an anxiety thing?

It's a common symptom of anxiety, along with things like a feeling of pressure like your ears need to pop, a feeling of dizziness, etc..

I have lots of the same head issues. I am currently taking a run of prednisone for this. It feels like my brain is swelling causing pressure inside, that doesn't really cause pain, just extreme cognitive fog and a slight dizziness. I had it one time when it was so bad that it felt as if I had a rag tied around my head, above my ears, and someone was trying to tighten the squeeze. At that time I went through prednisone, then solumedrol infusions to make it go away. It finally did, but it was tough. I think it was like an MS hug in my head! Sometimes meclizine for inner ear issues helps me. Get some and try it. It's the same thing as Dramamine, but cheaper as a Rx!

Well, after 10 days of predpak, the head is beginning to clear. Still have shaky legs, but making progress. By very careful eating, I have LOST 2 lbs. instead of gaining! (Regular GP appt. on Friday. Didn't want to have to explain a weight gain.) The weather in NC has begun to warm a little, and I can't stand to be indoors when it's in the high 60's, so I have been forcing myself to get OUTSIDE! Had to sit frequently yesterday, but at least I found a place in the sunshine, sheltered from the wind, and just enjoyed the great outdoors. I plan to plant some seeds today so I can watch them sprout, and in a couple of weeks start making me some fresh, organic carrots, radishes and arugula! Spring is just around the corner! (I'm 76, diagnosed 4 years, but had same problems over 40 years ago. I live out in the country on 2 acres of land.)

This is NOT and ANXIETY issue! It most certainly is MS. and when you have had enough of it, get help with Predpak or even Solumedrol. There is a better way to live than hibernating with our issues and not getting the help that is out there, if we follow through in taking care of ourselves. (It is also a consolation to me, to hear that someone else actually does know what I'm going through. Sorry that you have it, but as we both know very well, our symptoms could be much worse.) Prayers for you today to find relief.
