I’ve been having constant heart palpitations for the past two weeks. Like a heightened awareness of my heart beat? I went to the gp, my blood pressure is normal and the ecg is fine too. The thing is, I can feel my heart beat despite not being anxious nor stressed. Is this normal?

Constant heart palpitations?
Same thing happens to be, feels like I’m so aware of my heart beat like it’s really loud and quick even when I’m resting I also get palpitations and my blood pressure and ecg are normal too
Yes, this is one of my symptoms too. I am overly aware of my heart beat and at times I feel it in my heads it touches the pillow, or in my fingertips or in my stomach. Sometimes it skips a beat or does extra beats which freaks me out. My ecgs were all normal, bloods too. I was in A&E 2 nights ago after 1 hour of palps and a heart rate of 120. Connected to their machine it had already settled a bit. Diagnosis :anxiety. It is a vicious circle : you re aware of your heartbeat, wo dieting if it is normal, your body sends adrenalin which in turn increases your heart rate even more and so on..... What usually helps is the deep diaphagmic breathing. In through nose deep into the stomach, hold breath for 4 secs, breathe out slowly through mouth for at least 4 secs. That helps to calm down heart rate. But you must catch it early.
Yes, I want to chalk this up to a heightened awareness of your heart beat. As heart rate and heart issues scare me quite a deal when having a panic attack, I notice I'm more aware of how my heart is beating, how quick, and so on even when I'm not having a panic attack. I figure if I'm very much aware of this when I'm having an attack and it's my main complaint during one, it would make sense that I'm more sensitive to that in showing my body any sort of attentiveness on a regular basis.
