Hello everyone

Just at the hospital, and I’m scared of having a blood clot in my leg.....

they are doing a blood test, will that show up in a blood test if I have a clot?!!!

Well done for going ..

I know it’s Scarey but it’s the right thing to do...you will be reassured once the test is complete, if you hadn’t gone, imagine the anxiety...

D-dimer test is preliminary blood test that will show if there is any active blood clotting in your body. If it is negative then they will probably not procced further with tests or scans. If it’s positive they will try to determine the location of the clot.

The d-dimer test came back negative and they said I don’t have a clot :/

But my anxiety is telling me that I do have one, making me so anxious :/
