Ive been waiting all day on a phone call from my gi doctor. I went to a appointment yesterday for suspected blood clot in my liver... he didn't think it was a blood clot.. he said there is something there though. He even mentioned getting a liver biopsy for cancer testing...
I'm so scared. I don't understand this
I'm sorry you have to go through this. I am praying for you. What is the call for? For more testing? If he hasn't called yet, then maybe you should call him.

He finally callled me. He said that I have a inflammation of my bile duct in the left side of my liver, but I had had a scan about a year ago, he looked at it and it was on that scan as well
But the area hasn't changed from then to now so he doesn't think that it's cancer
I found it through a abdominal ct scan with contrast
The weird thing is though is he doesn't know what to do about it.
Then to make matters worse my GP called me right before and told me on my blood work that my blood sugar was critically low... with explains anxiety.. dizziness etc. but I've had my a1c checked before and im not diabetic I just have low blood sugar

I know right. I think I am going to go ahead and get the endoscopy.. even though it freaks me out being put to sleep. Maybe that will tell me more about what's going on
Good little medical mystery you have there!! Maybe the bile duct is not an inflammation but a but a scar tissue. How are your liver enzymes - ALT and AST and globulin? The low blood sugar is a blip too.....maybe the liver involvement means your glycogen stores are not being released to keep your blood sugar stable. Are you experiencing pain? Abdominal tenderness? Good luck - keep us updated... 😉
My blood work is all fine they said, enzymes are fine. Pancreas is fine and they also did a ultrasound of my gallbladder which was fine. I'll have pain in the left side of my stomach and also pain sometimes under my right rib area
