Chest tightness

I have been having tightness on the left side of my chest for months. I have been worried that it might be related to a heart attack but I have been told if the tightness last for months then it’s not a heart attack. It keeps me up at night worrying about it. Need help.

The problem with anxiety is that these symptoms are very real to us. I often wake straight up with random pains in my chest. It seems that after awhile no one takes us seriously. I’m sorry you are experiencing this. I’ll pray that you feel better soon.

Thank you. I went and talked to somebody today. She put me on buspar 15 mg twice a day and Clonidine .1mg to take at bed time.

Go to the doctor for your piece of mind. Get checked out and when you

get a clean bill of health let it go. I know that's hard to do with anxiety, but it's as simple as that and you can do it. Address the issue and move on.

I saw your previous post where you got a clean bill of health at the ER. You are fine...let it go. You can do this. It's a choice. Anxiety is tough, take control and don't let it rule your life. Be well
