Can't concentrate,racing thoughts

I can't concentrate on reading work, thoughts are going on in my head 1000 per sec , I can't control them. My memory is bad, I am suffering. Need help. I know many are suffering ,feels good to be here .

I will respond tonight, I'm off to work. In the meantime, let me/us know- were you on other meds before lamictil? Are you in therapy? Your profile says 6 years suffering- you've seen a doc/had the basic workup?

Know that u r not alone and that u can recover. Racing thoughts are par for the course right now:) Don't try to control them- that's fighting and fighting anxiety intensifies it. Let them bounce around in there and see them for what they are- anxiety-created. Bluffs. Try to take a deep breath and float through your day today (imagine you are floating downstream, loose, relaxed, safe,) I'll write more later. Welcome, so happy to have u here.

Iamhere4u Anxiety this time of year is a little more heighten. It just seems to go along with the season that is full of Hussle and bustle. Know there are many of us out here and we are all trying to grasp and hang on during this season. I find that making sure I have time for self-care makes a world of difference even if it is only 5 or 10 minutes. Just stop close your eye and breath in and out. Breathing in strength and breathing out the anxiousness. One more thing I found useful especially when you are short on time. Stop, press one l leg hard on the ground, take your tongue and apply it hard against the roof of you mouth and take a could breaths, this really helps you get your mind to shift. I have dealt with anxiety since age five. Well, I will leave you here, know if you need to chat I am always around. Beautyoutofashes54
