Thinking back to when I started taking it , it sounds fairly normal ... what dose are you taking? It will pass it just takes time for your system to get used to it .

Hi thanks for replying to me

I’m taking 10mg

People tell me I shouldn’t be feeling the way I am

Is this normal and how long will it last ?

Need a light at the end of the tunnel please x

10mg is a low dose ,I felt wretched when First started it , I was on 20mg. It takes a couple of weeks to be honest. It just heightened everything I was feeling with the anxiety but eventually it all began to ease and I started to feel better. (Rome wasn’t built in a day) . Try and relax, keep as calm as you can, let the medication do it’s thing . Obviously if you are feeling extremely ill or the medication is having an adverse reaction speak to your GP . Otherwise, one moment at a time and try not to think too much about wether it’s the medication or anxiety etc because you’ll just make yourself worse , just go with it , it will get better.

Sorry to bother you again

But will lack of sleep make things seem worse? Xx

Most definitely, when are you taking your tablets? they can affect sleep patterns to start with. I also yawned a lot. Anxiety it’s self can cause sleep problems then you feel worse during the day so your anxiety gets worse and it’s that whole vicious cycle. It will get better 😊

I’m taking my tablets at night with a sleeping tablet which on the whole was working but last night my anxiety woke me up at two o clock and now I’ve given in and have got a cup of tea and a cigarette as I don’t know what else to do

Christmas is round the corner and I’ve got nothing sorted

Just need to feel even a bit better

I’m scared to go to the doctors in case they want to give me I higher dose

Really appreciate all your advice but don’t know what to do xx
