So, I was playing this game on my phone (Words 2, it’s fun) and it has a messaging system built into it so that players can communicate with each other. Now, I’ve never been a big fan of messaging and all that, but today, this one guy messaged me, saying ‘hi’. He was male, and over 18, from what his profile said. Cautiously, I proceeded, hi. The conversation continued, with the only thing I revealed being that I was under 18 (no specific number) and that I was female. He then said, oh. He then proceeded and said, ‘So, do you love sex?’ Immediately I got concerned and blocked him straight away, meaning he cannot message me or start a game with me. Did I do the right thing? Could I have done things better? Should I even have given away info at all?! Should I even have replied in the first place?!

Underage users of any app, game, social media should not be prayed on by adults. It's a crime in virtually all nations for an adult to send nudity to a minor, or to request nudity of a minor, or sexually lure a minor across state/country lines.

You have 100% done the right thing, if anyone ever makes you feel uncomfortable, block their sorry ass and report them if you can! I'm unfamiliar with the app you refer to but you may be able to report their profile? Besides that, the internet is not a safe place. It sounds like you're being careful about what information you give etc. which is sensible. There's not much you can do 'better' trust your instincts and that block button is there for a reason!
