Anyone on a Ssri have you taken over the counter cough suppressant? I can’t find one that doesn’t interact with Zoloft and this cough is killing me

Aliciar, there is one that I know of that I take. Plain Robitussin

with just Guaifenssin It loosens the cough and produces a

more productive cough. My doctor has deemed it safe for anyone

on medication. Walgreens carries it under their name as well.

I also use inhaling steam when cough is bad. Breaks up the

congestion. Hope this helps some. Feel better soon. xx

Hi tamka, I am on Lexapro which is also another SSRI. It does not

interact with these psyche meds. You can also use steam inhalation

as well as drinking Chicken broth which has properties that thin the

mucous in the chest which is causing the cough. Stay safe. Be well. xx

I know honey. It's not easy but you need to be strong for

yourself right now. As hard as that may be. xx

I live in England and take Fisherman's Friends for my catarrh. I wonder if it is a side effect of Sertraline/Zoloft, as I don't remember my catarrh being so bad when I switched to Citalopram for several months last year.
