Hi I have had anxiety for nearly 3 years...

Hated it as it effected my life with family, work and home

Worry about my symptoms etc going to doctors too much, looking up on google, going hospitals for tests etc, all I think about is my symptoms and going round in circles

6 months ago gave in and asked for therapy, anti depression tablets,

Now for the last few weeks I have became more of myself, and trained my brain when I get those symptoms I know it’s nothing and it just goes away!!

Keeping busy, reading, working out, Lego, walks, work etc

Thanks to Lego, breaking bad, healthy foods, Therapy, work for helping me

I’m more myself now, hardly sit down all day overthinking my health,

I do lots of things now and a big smile on my face!!

I do get tiny symptoms now as like feeling edgy but it just appears for few secs.

It takes time... the brain is so powerful as it controls your body so don’t let it take over as it’s down to you to fight it.

I won the battle as beat Anxiety

David Weinman 1-0 Overthinking Health Anxiety

You can do it and do now give up!!!

I have felt like giving up a few times but I

Just keep on going!!

💪🏻

Oh the beach... that’s my dream home destination... going for walks along the sea is the most relaxing amazing feeling...

Ur partner sits on computers all day, that’s his distraction but it’s not good!

Moving to a new area is difficult but u can always google for things to do or join activities that interest u!!

Take calcium and magnesium. You will see improvements. Take calcium 12 days/ month and magnesium everyday for 3 months.

Davola77 in reply toEualex

How many a day each??

Eualex profile image
Eualex in reply toDavola77

400mg of Mg and 1000 mg of Ca. Those are the recommended daily dose. And for anxiety its very good to drink 2 cups a day of mellisa officinalis. Look for it on Google.

Wait to kick in. We loose and don't have absortion of magnesium for years and we want to see progress in few days.... magnesium is implicated in over 300 chemical processes in our body. Give it som time. And absortion rate of magnesium depends by the tipe of magnesium.

* "These supplements use magnesium oxide as the magnesium source. Magnesium oxide is inexpensive and takes up less volume than many other types of magnesium, which is why it’s used by so many supplement brands. But the absorption rate of magnesium oxide is a dismal 4%... almost none of the magnesium can be absorbed by your body. The rest of it simply passes through your system. Magnesium can have a laxative effect, but the pass-through effect of magnesium oxide can really have you running for the bathroom. Magnesium oxide is worthless as a source of supplemental magnesium with undesirable side effects.

When shopping for an effective magnesium supplement, there is a handful with high absorption rates. Three are at the top of my list: magnesium citrate, magnesium glycinate, and magnesium malate. The exact absorption rate can vary by individual and by dietary factors, but compared to the 4% absorption rate of magnesium oxide, the potential absorption rates of these supplements are stellar:

Magnesium citrate: 90%

Magnesium glycinate: 80%

Magnesium malate: 70%"

Davola. Great that you have anxiety free periods. Beating anxiety completely is more about getting to the stage that symptoms do not bother you. In other words, its not caring whether or not you have symptoms. In my opinion, distraction techniques may provide temporary relief but unless you learn to accept the symptoms and do not fear their return, you may be susceptible to anxiety returning. Setbacks are part of the recovery process and there may be many you have to pass through until you learn to accept them. Personally, i did not want to keep busying myself to stop the symptoms coming because i was still afraid of them. I understood that to be completely free of anxiety I had to lose my fear of the symptoms which meant letting the symptoms be there and not doing anything about them. By not doing anything about them, i know longer care if the symptoms come back because i dont fear them. Fear is the very reason why anxiety is in our lives and is a natural human to protect us in times of real danger. So if that does happen, it will quieten itself after the threat has disappeared and not linger because I fear the symptoms and spend all day worrying about them.

Hope this helps.

Onwards and upwards my friend!
