Still twitching

A follow up to my last post...I asked about facial twitching. So now I’ve had about 4 days of 24/7 facial twitching. It involves around my eye, lips, even nostrils. Mostly I can’t see it but can feel it. But if I smile I can see the corners of my mouth and lips shaking. Same thing if I squint my eyes, I can see them quivering. Has anyone had this happen from anxiety or medication side effect? I’m wondering if I need to switch from Zoloft to a different medication. Again, please no responses about scary diseases, I have a neurology appointment scheduled but trying not to freak out in the meantime.

Twitching for me is a warning sign. Can I suggest the following? Get your doctor to sign you off work. Ask about increasing you anti-depressant dose. Listen to slow and melodious music. Watch meditation videos on the net. Do relaxation. Read rather than screen-watch before going to bed early. Hope this helps.

Facial twitching is a common sign that we’re becoming anxious, it can also be a vitamin or mineral deficiency.. try not to worry.. see your gp or pharmacist to put your mind at rest .
