Eye Doctor

Today, I went to the eye doctor by myself! This is a big deal for me. I lost my hearing a few years ago and since then my parents have been making all my appointments for me and going with me. Today I was solo and I did it. I was very anxious about the dilation part of the eye exam because it makes your eyes blurry. With me not being able to hear or see very well I'd not be able to communicate at all. I didn't have to worry though. I explained my situation to the doctor and he didn't even need to dilate my eyes. I was so happy and relieved! I however, need glass for distance to drive, and watch tv.
