Today I was sat in my room at uni and I suddenly felt super hot all over, I tried changing clothes to something lighter but it didn't help. I tried to go to my lecture but felt so anxious I had to leave. When I got home I took a cold shower but still feel a little hot inside.
Anyone get sudden hot falshes?
Are you on any type of anti-depressant? Those are notorious for causing excessive sweating, hot flashes, and night sweats. Also, even if you aren't menopausal or perimenopausal, if you are getting close to your period it is common to experience sweating or hot flashes in the lead up to your period starting because of the lowered estrogen and higher progesterone.
